Important: Your captured content goes directly to your Google Docs. We act as a secure conduit and do not permanently store your content on our servers. Our Google Drive access is limited to only the files Snapgle creates or that you choose to open with Snapgle.

5. Chrome Extension Permissions

Our Chrome extension requires certain permissions to function:

  • Active Tab: To capture content from the current web page
  • Storage: To save user preferences and settings locally
  • Identity: To authenticate with Google services
  • Host Permissions: To access web page content for capturing

These permissions are used solely for the stated functionality and are not used to track your browsing or collect unnecessary data.
